A shop steward is a union member who represents the interests of their fellow cast members in the workplace. They act as a liaison between cast members and the union leadership, helping to ensure the collective bargaining agreement is being enforced, addressing workplace concerns, and providing support to cast members with grievances or disciplinary issues. Shop stewards are a great source of information regarding union activities.
