NOMINATION AND ELECTION NOTICE
Workers United Local 50
NOMINATIONS
Nominations for the offices of President, Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and ten (10) Executive Board members will be accepted from the floor at the April 2024 General Membership meeting at the date, time, and place indicated below. The term of office will run for three years beginning June 2nd, 2024. Candidates elected as President, Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and the ten (10) Executive Board members will also serve as delegates to any SEIU and Workers United International Union Convention that will take place during the period of holding office.

Nominations may also be made in writing and must be received by Recording Secretary Chris Shively at the Local 50 office, 527 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim CA 92805 no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 9th, 2024.
As provided in the Local 50 Bylaws, any member who has paid dues through March 2024 prior to 5:00 p.m. on April 9th, 2024 is in good standing and eligible to nominate candidates and run for office.
Candidates must accept nomination at the nomination meeting or, if not in attendance, submit a written acceptance to Recording Secretary Chris Shively by 5:00 p.m. on April 16th, 2024.
ELECTION
The election of Local 50 officers will be conducted by mail-in ballot via a thirdparty company. Please be sure that your address is updated with your employer as soon as possible. You can update your address through the DTools HR section of the Disney Cast Life website. Ballots will be mailed out two (2) weeks after nominations have been held. Please make sure your ballot is delivered to the designated P.O. box by May 28th at 9 a.m.
